Long walks with my mp3 player. Nothing else really does it for me other than I try to keep a diary too sometimes, unleash the fury on paper sort of thing every so often.

Yeah, I love taking long iPod walks.  I keep a music journal where I write songs, poetry, guitar notes or just ramblings meant to inspire what I write.  Working out, breakdancing and hitting the heavy bag are other ways I deal with stress.

I talk to people about it, but sometimes that just agrivates me more because it makes me feel needy.

So I go in my room and sleep it off, or blare music.

But most of the time, I take advantage of it and express it through writing, drawing, or sometimes when I blare music I sing it off.

To be honest, I don't know what I do. It's not habitual - it's more of one of those things I just do out of reflex and it's completely natural.

As a general rule, though, I try to find something soporific - music, food, boatloads of exercise - and will myself to get better. I'm a determined person, so it really doesn't weigh that heavily on my emotions, and eventually my mindset turns into beating myself (when it comes to exercise - for example, x seconds for a lap of _ metres).

I then completely forget about what was bothering me and end up doing it in my routine.

I work on my novel or read a book.  Some times I just sit and draw weird lines on a piece of paper with different colored crayons.  It's like writing down the chaos I feel.

When i'm stressed i just do something i enjoy like watching WWE Wrestling, watching a funny movie, listing to music, or just being alone for awhile and talking my problems out with myself. (Sounds alittle gay, but it does work...)
