I'm trying to figure out--
I was anorexic in h.s., but I guess you could call me recovered...but just recently I've gone through some heavy personal issues and now I'm having trouble making myself eat and keep food down.  I've lost about 11 pounds in 10 days which isn't actually healthy, and I guess I wanna know if I'm the only weirdo out there that isn't forcing herself NOT to eat, but has to force herself TO eat...

That's not abnormal for anorexia.

From what I know, anorexia is not something you recover from. Its something that youll probably struggle with some your whole life. I could be wrong, but thats what I've heard. So, since your sturggling again, call a hotline or talk to someone about your stress so you can releive it in a way not danergous to your health. You can also go and get help again if you need it.

You're not a weirdo first of all, just let me clear that up. I am going to say this once so please read carefully, what exactly did you do to be recently recovered? I know, that's hard to answer, yet, if you can think about what might of helped you have a healthier diet you can gain weight in the right body mass you have.
Have you seeked help other then your own? It may help to seek a doctor and ask about a diet plan that can benefit you. Knowing that you can concentrate on looking healthier.

I know, it's hard having to eat, yet, in order to do that you need your reasons to. Is there anything out there you want to look forward to in the future. Because with that being said I assure you if you continue the process you are in, you may become to weak to continue.

i want to remind you that sometimes when you starve yourself your body will hold on to the extra food for energy. That in itself is not good because not only does it store energy but it will keep it as fat. As long as you maintain to just eat a snack at breakfast, lunch, and dinner and you can be refilled in the sense of not being to hungry..

I can sort of relate to your situation.  Although I've never been anorexic I'm currently going through a phase where I just haven't been eating (this is being caused by depression, stress, and ADD medication).  It's not healthy, I'm aware of that, its just every time I even think about eating more than half a meal I get a bit nauseated.  If I ever stuff myself til I'm full I'll end up throwing up at least half of it.  Like it was mentioned before, you should attempt to eat several small meals or snacks throughout the day...whether you're hungry or not try to eat something like half a sandwich or a granola bar or some type of food supplement (meaning Slim-fast meal bars or drinks).

I try not to think of it as forcing myself to eat so much as forcing myself to become healthier.  The lack of food energy will end up effecting your life negatively no matter what, and it's certainly something which you are capable of undertaking and which you shouldn't have to make yourself have to deal with.

Hope this helps...
