It'll be okay. After high school all of my friends and I split up and went to different colleges but I stay in contact with the majority of them. We call each other about once a week or every other week and visit each other during breaks. You can always make new friends at college while maintaining the old ones. What you could do though is hang out with your high school friends as much as you can before school starts.
