Hott damn cest moi, that's terrible! Nearly every year there are very low no.s (3-7ish) of pupils takin German for A-levels, but usually the course still goes ahead with no complaints. I've recently been told that there might be a couple more students taking German (coming to my sixth form from a different school), and apparently we have a commited teacher that will be teaching us next year! Considering your circumstances I don't know whether it's normal or lucky, I can't imagine the education system is very different. Still I also will have to pursue learning my other three foreign languages out of school (Italian, Basic Chinese and Norwegian) because they don't do them in school. Hopefully I can find an effective way to study them
