So here's my problem: Microsoft Office: It keeps asking me for a validation key and I don't have it, so obviously I can't run any Microsoft Program.  It's a new Laptop so I thought that was part of the package? Guess I was wrong, eh? ... ... Every time I open something, let's say Word, I get the same window thing asking me for the key, and when I say: NO, It opens the program but I can't even make a document  ... Somebody told me I could download a copy of Microsoft or get a validation Key free? (I won't spend more money YES I'M CHEAP! I want a copy, Torrent.. Whatever you call it, I don't know...) This is what happens when you don't know a lot about computers and don't bother to learn more... so you just ask somebody you know and hope things go well..  ... AND IT GETS WORST IF YOU'RE USING VISTA! Fucking Vista!  PLEASE HELP! PS: Reply if you're going to say something helpful, plz!

u prolly have to buy it and download it...that's pretty much the only solution or mayb a copy came with the comp and u can download it

OK, being a computer major, and browsing the web, I thought that I might help you out.... <p> Since you bought your laptop, it already should have come with a Microsoft Office package (it should have a fucking lot of disks- one per program). If you do not have these, then you need to go buy one in order to access the Microsoft Programs. If you don't want to do that, I'd highly reccommend calling the help-line number that should've come with your computer. Have your recipt ready and just talk it over with them. There isn't any need to get hysterical. What I wouldn't reccommend however, is getting a validation key online- most of them are phonies and once you put one in, sometimes it makes things more difficult later on. So, just call the help center- that should be fairly easy. If not, try calling the place that you've ordered it from or the manufacturer of your new laptop. <p> Hope it was helpful... <p> Walter
