I KNOW that I'm good, I know. I don't want to be all "I'm the best actor in the world, la di da!" but I do know that I have talent. I'm studying it professionally - I've been told that. I was even randomly approached by a man on the street who saw a play of mine and really enjoyed my performance.

I don't want fame and I don't want money. I don't want to move to Los Angeles. Everybody in LA is in "actor" anyway - usually because they want to be famous or become rich or party with the stars or have glory or whatever.

I love the craft. I just love it. And if I had a way to support myself, I would do it for nothing, just so I could do it.

But I'm surrounded by people who constantly tell me that I can't. That I should throw away my dreams and find a "real" career. I hate that. It's so depressing.

No. I don't know that many people around here who have any interest in theatre at all. Most want to be engineers and get into the mining and petroleum industry - it's booming here.

And if you have like muscle, join professional wrestling.  Their some real good actor in that field.
