If it's concerning a girl you like, are you sure you can't classify that as normal teenage behavior? I would think you would have some anxiety problem if you did this with every person you chill with, but that doesn't seem like the case. It sounds like insecurities to me, maybe just more extreme than usual, just because I know of some friends go through a similar routine with crushes, although I can be wrong.
