It is interesting. As I read, I tried to think of things that I can't say. I can't say that I hate my mother's boyfriend to his face. I can't tell my friend's mother that how she treats her daughter isn't fair. I can't say, depending on who I'm with, that I'd like to kill every pedophile myself. I can't say to a miserable, abused person that I don't think that they're strong enough. It took me awhile to understand what you mean, OP, and now that I do, I can relate. When people tell me that they don't want gays to get married, that all fat people or lazy, or that addicts are selfish and uncaring, I do get angry. Why? Because I don't want them to make anyone else feel that way.
This article may very well have effected how I will one day raise my children.
It's lovely. Thanks for posting.
