Okay, so my fiance and I  will be together 6 years tomorrow and things were going great, well atleast I thought they were. Then I found out he had been lying to me about working. He told me that he worked all the time and never called in then I found out that he has been calling in almost every time that he is scheduled to work.I found this out last week and I cant get past it. I cant get over the fact that he lied to me especially since I have NEVER EVER lied to him and I dont understand why he is lying to me. Im not sure that I can stay with him after this because of previous situations. So do you think Im over reacting or Im a totally right in being pissed off.

I have a problem with lying as well. Confront him about it and tell him it's more than the fact that he wasn't working, it's that he flat out lied. Give him another chance though.

Confrontation; yes, agreed but calling it off is a bit rash. Just letting this settle will just provoke tension, though. We don't really know the whole story and it would just be criminal to assume to the worst.

At least you found out this before you were married.  I'd try to find out why he lied to you - has he been up to something, or was he just embarrased that he hasn't been going to work?  Maybe he's worried you'd think he was lazy, and doesn't realise that lazy isn't as bad as liar?

What other problems has there been?  

Whatever they were, seriously talk about it - don't get married until you're certain you're both happy and that things have changed.
