Once you go Mac, you don't go back.

I'd beg to differ.
My mom got me a Mac and I absolutely dread it.
No right click FTL.

Imma buy a Vaio in a couple months...for now I'm stuck with this mac =/

No right click? Get a new mouse.

i would have to agree with getting something you already know something about. get one with the best performance but for lower cost (not mac) and also look at it this way if you get the low specs for the computer then you'll have to upgrade soon

so im going off to college soon and i need a laptop. i was thinking about getting a mac, but im worried about the adjustment of a whole new computer. but i really like all the features because my friend was showing me yesterday what her mac can do.

i like pc's because im familiar with them, but the mac seems so much better. do u think i could make the transition to a mac without completely regretting it once im in college all by myself?

Don't recomend the mac then. However, if it's a choice between mac and a laptop with Vista, go with Mac.

Best choice would be a good laptop with Windows XP on it.

You can save yourself further money by using OpenOffice instead of Microsoft Office.

well it really depends...

a normal laptop is normally cheaper than a mac and it really depends what you want to do with it..

like if your only going to use like word etc then just get a cheap laptop..

Um... Macs do have right-click and they are super-easy to use.

so easy to get used to, i got my macbook like 3 months ago anf i love it. it is true what they say (one you go mac you never go back). i will never EVER buy windows again unless it is absolutely necessary. if this mkaes you feel better, when i was debating on my macbook or a dell running windows, i went to BestBuy (sells both now) and asked one of the sales people if i would have trouble getting used to OS X leopard and he said i would probably have a harder time getting used to Vista so i was relieved and here we are 2day writing this message on my MAC!

People always say this, but I've never understood.

Right clicking on a mac is pretty fucking simple.

i consider myself computer literate. i know my way around computers and after owning my first mac ( a macbook for college) for only 3 months i can honestly say i probably know 90% of everything about it but after working on PC's my whole life, my desktop still puzzles me. (running windows) you will adjust so easily and they are just so much cleaner and better to use plus you look good using them. that little apple logo on the front is gorgeous, lol
just check them out

you know you want to and i know you will want 1
one you go mac you never go back
