one true love means that you two were destined to be together, just you and that one other person. and love exists between only you two. all are "loves" were unreal

real love means there is no one person meant for you out there. you are fully capable of trully being in love with the person you are with no matter who they are and not "the one." which means that all those other relationship in which you loved the other person weren't falsities or meaningless relationships.

idk if this makes sense...i have a hard time putting my thoughts into words. it's just something i thought of today....not sure why though tbh...i think it was while i was watching wife swap and the christian mother was trying to get the jewish father to talk about how horrible it is to have sex before marriage because you waste yourself...idk how that connected. i guess that whole "saving yoruself for that one" thing...whatever
