I think the following books are pretty good:

Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte
Winnie the Pooh - A.A Milne
Edward II (play) - Christopher Marlowe
The School for Scandal (play) - Richard Sheridan
Othello (play) - Shakespeare
The picture of Dorian Grey -Oscar Wilde (3/4 of the way through)
A catcher in the rye - JD Salinger
Birthday Girls - Annabel Giles
About a Boy - Nicky Hornby
A long way down - Nick Hornby

Anyone else have any good reads they'd like to share ?

Othello!? Woman art thou mad!? We done a play of that with yours truly as Emilia and it was like "OMGZONOEZ!" lol. but it was enjoyable. To read it without understanding old english is a curse. But i MUST agree Wuthering Heights? OMG BRILLIANT!

Also: Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austin
Jane Eyre - Bronte
How Many Miles to Babylon - Jennifer Johnson
The Interpratation of murder - Jed Rubenstein.
Romeo and Juillet - Shakesphere
King Lear - Shakesphere
The taming of the shrew - Shakesphere.

All FABULOUS.
