I need a story idea/ premise for a book, I want vampires, along with other mystical creatures(werewolves, etc) to be involved.
I'm having trouble coming up with a story-line, and i am in need of some inspiration.
also, anyone have any interesting ideas for a new breed of vampire?
I really don't want the generic kind, its getting a bit old.

Mix the two. Make a vampire werewolf. Make it about a couple, the guy or girl of the couple is a vampire, but doesn't let the other one know. The vamp also is a werewolf during a full moon. I don't know about a different kind of vamp though.

I'm not trying to, I'm not even trying to get published, this book is mostly for my and my close friends/family

What about a story about the children of a vampire & a werewolf?!
Some can be vampires and some can be werewolves, so there could be a conflict between the siblings
Or a school for mythical creatures could work, something like Harry Potter! But you'd have to limit the amount of creatures that existed.
