I have Vista and I don't like the whole set-up.  Its harder to find things in my opinion.

Yes, XP is better.

Seriously, I'm getting a bit annoyed at this "XP / Vista is better than XP / Vista".

How about this: each of them has advantages and disadvantages.  They operate in different ways, and have completely different back ends and front ends.  There have been no / very few security risks in Vista that were not also present in XP.  etc etc etc

Generic argument.

I don't care, I have Vista.. I'm still getting used to it. Plus the fact that I'm not a computer geek doesn't help, so that might be why I hate it sometimes. I was too used to XP. :[

Both have ups and downs.

I currently use Vista on my laptop, and I think they're both good. I can't really pick one over the other because I still have XP on the home computer--for me, they're about the same.

Can people please explain why they think XP is better. What is it you think XP is better at?

I find the UI, stability etc all much better in Vista as well as the functionality. We can all talk about what features Vista has that Xp hasn't, would someone please like to tell me what makes Xp better.

I use Macintosh OS X Leopard and dual boot Vista when nessaceary. And Window Vista sucks.

I've got Vista on my laptop and as much as I despise all the extra clicking I have to do ("Are you sure you want to do this?" or whatever) I'm getting used to it.

I'd love to have XP on this laptop though. XP is so much better because I can play so many games and it's easily customizable... but I suppose Vista will be too one day. It's just going to take a bit. Vista is still new afterall.

i went from XP to Mac OS X. completely skipping vista thank god, all i hear is bad things. it does look nicer though, lol...but not better than OS X
