Hi there. My friend is getting me a piercing for my 20th birthday (she's got a few things done, and she's planning on getting her nose done too.) I just had a couple questions before going on Saturday. I'm more than likely going to get my tragus done. How does it work with earbuds? Will I need to use more headphone style ones? I do really enjoy listening to my music, so this is crucial lol. I might also get one of my nipples done, or possibly something else on my ear. And I've also considered getting my eyebrow done before, but I think that might be too "out there". Not subtle enough. What do you guys think? I can always put up a picture of me too haha.
1. If you haven't gotten piercings before, most places wont let you get more than one done at a time (unless it is ears or whatever...but not an eyebrow AND nipple or whatever). Your body probably couldn't handle the pain/shock of two in one session. 2. Nipple, go for it 3. Eyebrow. High rejection rate. Your body will literally push it out of your body and your eyebrow will look like shit. So if it is a first time piercing, I suggest you get something in your ear first to see how your body manages foreign materials.

Heh, I think there was a little bit of miscommunication. I'm just getting one thing done but I wasn't sure which of the 3 ideas I would go with. In the end I booked my appointment to get my tragus done. I work out quite a bit, so I just wasn't sure if that would get in the way. Maybe if I enjoy myself with my ear I'll get my nipple done some other time lol. Can anyone answer me about the headphone thing?

Nape piercings anyone? Anyone have one? Thinking about getting one? Have a strong opinion one way or the other about it? I saw one in person for the first time a few days ago and am now in love with the look.
That's the one I'm getting next, but it's costing £50ish, and I can't afford it just yet. I'd reccommend getting a bob cut if you're going to get one, since it's a surface piercing and could do with as little irritation as possible, otherwise it'll reject. Very beautiful piercing, but don't go to a dodgy piercer because it's easy to fuck up and not do it straight. As for whoever asked about tragus and headphones - you don't need to wait for it to fully heal. It's a bit uncomfortable at first, and I'd suggest taking a little pack of antiseptic wipes with you everywhere so you can just give your tragus a little rub after you take the headphone out. They carry a lot of dirt. I have mine done, it's taken about 8 months to heal. I got it done with a bar though, so I'm not sure if a ring would change the circumstance. So yeah, apart from my tragus, I also have my septum pierced. I love it. Planning on a double monroe eventually, too.
