Ok, so last night I got hit with a trojan horse, and I comfortably remove it and along with a few spyware programs it brought with it.

However, I keep having ads coming up saying I'm 'infected' with various forms of spyware and that I should download certain products and buy them (which are bogus, if you haven't heard the reports), but after removing all my spyware with hijack this! and ad-aware, I still have these ads coming up.

I have Killbox to get rid of the offending file as soon as I can locate it, but I know not where the little bastard is hidden.

Thanks in advance if you can help

I did mention I've used HiJack This!, yes. -_-
Spy Sweeper saves the day anyway.

Adware found: popuper
Adware found: security2k hijacker
Trojan Horse found: trojan-downloader-zlob

That'd be my problem :)

If you don't mind doing something illgal download Spy doctore and ill give you a keygen that will unlock the program so it will clean oyur computer out.
It works pretty good.

Try Avast anti-virus,
Its a Good software.you can get that for free from here > http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html

first you have to register and get the Activation key[they will Email you the Key#],after that download >Install > Run the Avast anti-virus >finally activate it by the Activation key.

After the Installation is done Run Avast and scan your PC.

its useless using spyware,adware,antivirus guards unless stop visiting or download unwanted stuff ..there are loads of sites which contain these cracks,hacks which are 100% clean so use those sites

Your post makes little sense, I can visit all the porn sites I want and not be infected with anything bad if it were the case. My spyware problem is fixed regardless.

Oh, and btw. No crack/hack sites are 100% clean, otherwise they wouldn't be these said sites.

Try Spybot Search and Destroy. I've had a lot of luck with it.

Of course, it could be the trojan has left some remanent that didn't get removed. I wouldn't know, I've never had a virus. And it's not because I run strong anti-virus, because I run zero. I'm just careful about what I do.
