I play the clarinet. I've been playing for four years now.
Music is my passion. I literally have dedicated my life to music. After high school, I'm moving to New York to go to Juilliard. There is so much I've accomplished, and I don't know where to start. Lemme see.
The biggest contest I've done is From the Top.
I'm going to Interlochen for the summer. Again. :D
Maybe the summer after next, I might go to Europe to go on tour with a national band. Yes, national.
I've had several recitals.
I've been offered to sign with this record label, but my parent's didn't let me. I have to finish school, and Juilliard first. If I did sign, I would have to take 6-weeks off of school, and go on tour. Playing at concert halls, and travel. :D
Small things I've done.
Made All-Region Band every year since I was allowed (7th grade)
Made All-District.
Made Area, but not state.
At Area, I relaxed too much, and my tongue settled while playing a fast piece, so my fingers were ahead of my tongue. But, I was the only Freshman at Area, and I was just one chair away from state.
Contests I'm doing.
I'm doing a contest to play with the Brazos Symphony Orchestra.
Contest to play with the United States Air Force.
And The International clarinet Association, this time it is going to be held in British Columbia, Canada.
So, yeah, that's all the jusnk I could think of right now, that I've done, am doing, and plan on doing. :D
