I might as well join in. My name is Thomas, I am 23, I currently work as a PHP programmer for a somewhat small company, mainly working with Wordpress stuff. I was recently pondering about what I would like to do in the future, and have found the idea of living in a nice house, preferably made of wood, with a cottage style garden that is full of herbs to be appealing, preferably with lots of sorts of mint, I like mint in food. I enjoy things to do with technology, food and cooking, and accumulating large quantities of probably useless information. I recently ordered a computer with the idea of making myself a home server/TV recorder/media server/backup device, it should arrive some time this week.

Alright, well, my name is Curt and I'm 20. I joined Livewire over three years ago when I was 17. I'm currently a sophomore at the University of Washington and am majoring in geography (with a focus in urban development) and minoring in history. I commute to campus since I live about 40 - 50 minutes south of the university during rush hour traffic. I take the bus, though, so add an extra 15 minutes getting to the bus stop and waiting for the bus, which is a pain in the ass, but definitely worth not having to pay $11 a day for fucking parking. I also work for Pizza Hut as a delivery driver for some money on the side. It's a fun job and I love the great deal of freedom the job gives me, but there are a couple small things about it that piss me off. Generally these consist of customers and their misconceptions of some things (delivery charges being the biggest one), but also the way the companies like trying to screw drivers over. I tend to dwell on things a lot. Always small things. I have this mindset that the littlest things I do matter, which is true, but I tend to take that a step too far and get worked up over these tiny little details. Like when I talk to a friend, I keep thinking that I always need to be saying and talking about something, otherwise their opinion of me drops. That also makes me a bit of a perfectionist in a way, but I'm so laid back that I'm not really a perfectionist at all. It's sorta contradicting, like how I'm pretty shy and don't say too much, yet I'm very open and will talk to you about anything. I hide nothing because I have absolutely nothing to hide. Thus I have a bit of trouble with other peoples' secrets as I tend to think honesty and open-ness draws everybody closer (although I do realize that people misunderstand easily). But I'm not too bad when it's something big... I'm also probably one of the calmest people you'll ever meet. I rarely ever get angry unless I'm real close with you and feel I can express my anger, but I usually never do it in a way that hurts other people. Most of the time, I'll turn my anger inward, which gave me some depression issues when I was younger (after all, depression is often anger turned inward). As a result, I have a tendency to get bitter before I start yelling or anything like that. I'm told that I'm pretty funny as well by all my friends. They describe my humor as sarcastic, witty, and sometimes a bit quirky and borderline. I have trouble knowing when to shut up about certain things sometimes and have a tendency to take some things too far. I've gotten a lot better at controlling this, though, so it's hardly ever a problem anymore. I'm still single, haven't had a relationship in years, but hope to eventually find someone someday, get married in the future, have a family, good paying job, etc. Who doesn't want all that? That's pretty much me in a nutshell. Post edited at 12:18 pm on Feb. 27, 2008 by Bud2400

Hello, I;m Hadley. I am 17. I was born and raised in Georgia, but am not a hick. I love me some sweet tea and all, but I don't have a Southern accent. I currently do not have a job, but make money doing street performances in an area of Atlanta called Little Five Points. I set up a table with around 30 different kinds of Rubik's Cubes, and solve till dark. I so far have made around $100 I am very addicted to Rubik's Cube solving. I am currently training for a tournament, and now average around 35-40 seconds per solve. My record for fastest solve is 26.88 seconds. I can also do the standard cube with one hand, blindfolded, my feet and ith chopsticks. I have many other record and puzzles that I won't bother listing. Music is my biggest passion. I play guitar, lap steel, didgeridoo, kalimba, jambali, Jew's hard and banjo. I have played a few shows. I have been to about 70 concerts, and always have tickets for more. My top three favorite bands are The John Butler Trio, Dave Matthews Band and Xavier Rudd. I am a very political person. Though I am VERY liberal, I am extremely open minded. I won't put othe rpeople down for their opinions. I expect the same respect, though. I am a veyr big supporter of Barack Obama. I have 2 dogs. A Boston Terrier named Cindy, and a Yorky named Max. I love htem both. Cindy is really fat, and Max is really stupid. Often runs into doors and such. I love talking to people. I am always up for a good conversation. My AIM is listed here. You can add me on my MySpace. If you want to add me on FaceBook, message me cause I don't want to post my last name here. Post edited at 9:31 pm on Feb. 27, 2008 by iamironman

My name is Audrey. I'd prefer Aud or Rey. End up getting called bitch, apathetic rock and cold hearted bitch by some adoring friends. I'm 21 years old, but in serious denial about this whole growing up thing. I avoid responsibility as much as possible. I've spent my entire life in Massachusetts, mostly in a suburb of Boston. I have the accent to prove it. I'm done with 2 years of school so far. I left like 2 years ago to figure myself out and pick a new major. I think I'll go for psychology. And probably head back to UMass Amherst instead of transferring. Or maybe I will transfer. I don't know. I can't decide. I'm really really indecisive. It takes me a long time to make any decision. Usually I just end up giving up. Like I'll look at my fruit options for 5 minutes or so and then just decide to not eat any fruit at all because I can't pick one. I like to have friends pick for me, but most have started to refuse because I usually end up hating whatever they pick for me. It makes shopping a painful experience for anyone so I end up shopping all alone. I have a massive wardrobe, but spend most days in my work uniform. I run the clothing department of a toys r us. It's the biggest pain in the worldddd. I hate it and love it all at once. It keeps me busy and that's what really matters. End up freaking out and wanting to cry though. My coworkers don't set foot in there so it never gets cleaned. But someone keeps fucking with my shoe displays and mixing up the infant girl and child girl sizes. I will track the person down and freak a bit. I'm constantly having a caffeine freak out. I adore my nephew, try looking at all my topics about him. I pretty much don't date at all. Being known as a bitch keeps the guys/ladies away for the most part. Mainly something I just decided to do though. I have a really bad habit of sabotaging any relationships. Draw the guy in and then fuck around and push him away. Hurt a number of people so I'm not dating until I stop being so fucked up. I'm really shy and take a while to warm up to new people. :/ That should be enough to keep you busy. Post edited at 4:06 pm on Feb. 27, 2008 by audrey820

my name's Jason, i'm 21 (<-- in 9 days), and i live in eastern Pennsylvania. this is my third year in college. i'm currently enrolled into Cabinetmaking and Wood Technology in a 2 year technical college, though i have also completed a 1 year degree in the electrical feild. i believe i am an avid cabinetmaker and i really think i can make a career out of it. i decided to do this in high school, after taking 4 years of Materials. here's a few things i have done: my senior project: Adirondack chair my junior project: chess set and my first year college project: Shaker table i work at Wal-Mart for the time being. i have been there for 3 years. the only reason i'm still there is that it'd look good on my resume investing a lot of time and doing so many different things. i got enough awards to prove it too. i have been single for the longest time and i don't know how to explain it. the love of my life is in Colorado with someone else, and though we are both still madly love each other, we're just too far away to do anything. and with her out of my life, i just can't be satisfied with anyone else, no matter how hard i try. i've given up and am just waiting around i guess. people say i'm really friendly and hard working. every now and then, someone will say i'm humorous also. i have so many nicknames, i'll turn around for almost anything. i'm a rollercoaster of emotions inside, but i almost always have a smile. i'm a huge video game and comedy (movies, TV, etc.) freak and i love to drive and ski. i'll be tidy one day, and messy the next. i'm not sure what else to say, but i think i've covered enough bases. this is a very nice topic DancinOnTheMoon. i like reading all the different things in here, it's really interesting.

Hi everyone! My name is Jeff, and I am currently 21 years old. I live and grew up in northern California, though for around 3 years I was living and moving around the mid-western united states. I went through a year of college at Central Michigan University, but decided to drop out after my second semester. I currently have no plans to go back to school, but I won't rule it out. Instead, I'll enjoy my employment with Electronic Arts as a video game tester; my childhood dream job realized. It's not quite as glamorous as I'd imagined, but it's definitely the best job I've ever had. As you might have gleaned from the previous paragraph, one of my favorite things is "computers", as broad as that is. I wouldn't consider myself a technophile, but I'm probably close. I have faith that technology will save the world, piece by piece. Outside of silicon things, I have a love for cats, nature, the stars, and meddling with music. If have, on more than one occasion, tried to combine all these things, but only been truly successful once. I feel that the most noticed things about me, as people come to know me, are my empathy, and, conversely, my disregard for many things that most people hold sacred. Because of this, I tend to offend a lot of people, even though I don't try to. As much as I attempt to respect other people, I often don't succeed, and come off as self righteous. I enjoy candlelit dinners and long walks on the beach. No fatties kplz. Post edited at 9:24 pm on Feb. 27, 2008 by Khadgar

Hey guise, This summer I'll turn 25, but I've been here since I was 19. Got tricked into coming here by a girl that I really loved, and strongly considered getting married to back then, and haven't really been able to leave since. Things ended up falling apart between us because she didn't agree with my choice in carrers, but oh well things like that happen. Thanks to the Army, I might have not been born in Texas, but I was brought here a few months after my birth, and after a couple year stint in Germany, have lived here for at least 20 years. I was supposed to have graduated university last spring with my double major in history and political science, but mother nature didn't seem to think as well of me. There ended up being a large amount of flooding back home, and I had to deal with it. The end result is that I ended up failing two of my classes, and am retaking the last of them currently. When I graduate I'll try to get a job teaching one of the social studies in the high school, government would be my favorite, but I have plenty of horriffic things prepaired for history, geography and economics classes as well. The thing is that I'm not really at the point in my life that I really want to teach, along with the fact that I am simply disgusted by the American education system at the current point, thus I only plan on teaching for 2-3 years. Once I do my time teaching, and get my house paid off (my house is $60k and starting pay for a teacher is $40k here), I plan on going back to graduate school, maybe take a year off to go live in central asia to better learn the languages and cultures of the republics that used to compose Turkenstan. At graduate school I plan on obtaining a masters in international affiars, with a concentration on central asian regional studies. My diploma will hopefully get me some job with the government, hopefully the military, as a translator. After I do my time in public service, I will either go back to teaching or do something to help better the situation of the educational system, if it is anywhere nearly as bad as it is today. If I have the money I might run for office to help better things, or I might start writing books/music to raise funds for myself and/or simply bring awareness to these problems. I guess that you guys are going to expect me to talk about hobbies and the whatnot. Aside from reading journals from time to time, and tracking down articles on various things that attract my intrests, hmm... I have recently gotten way into manga, even moreso than I have always been into anime. My three favorite series right now are Gunslinger Girl, Chibi Vampire and Negima! Even recently I've gotten involved with attempting to buy figurines and am wanting to get wall scrolls. I also am a huge fan of video games. I have my NES, SNES, Dreamcast, PS2 and Wii set up in the living room of my house, though I'm about to move everything but my Wii to another room that will become my game room for the time being. I am glad that with the Wii Virtual Console that I can download games that I haven't been able to find/get to work in years. I'm also a fan of other kinda nerdy stuff such as RPGs, with Battlelords and Big Eyes, Small Mouth being my two favorite games, and Warhammer, which I have my nice little dwarven army ready to bring it when I play with my friends on the weekends. I never made an introduction topic, just that I joined and started pwning n00bs from the start.

My name is Tasmin, and my nick name is taz and for some reason my name is not recognised by any spell checker and dictionary that I have come across. I am 18... no wait, I'm 19! My birthday was on the 13th. I am currently in college finishing of my Psychology, Photography and Sociology A-level. During this September I will be heading of to Portsmouth University to do a degree in Criminology and Forensic Studies. I would like to work for the government as an offender profiler. I like most things green and I love camping. I love to dance and have been doing tap and modern for many years now and ballet for just 1 and have already become advanced in all classes. I also love sheep and I like visiting the fields just opposite my house to talk to the sheep. I can also talk about sheep for ages. I read crime novels and true crimes. I like playing chess and I am the college Chess Champion. I don't understand idioms and every where I go, I have to keep a memo book full of them with their meanings, just so I don't get confused. I work part time in my Grandmothers flower shop. I have 3 hamsters, Io, Callisto and Gonzo. I don't like being touched and it takes a while for me to get used to them and hug them. I don't like having face-to-face conversations with people much, but I enjoy observing their body language. And I still have a baby tooth! Edit: just did a LiveWire spell check. Tasmin is not listed but: Yasmin, Jasmin, Tasmania, Taming, Jasmina and Jasmine are.... Post edited at 5:43 am on Feb. 28, 2008 by minmin
