Hm, I don't know what server's minimum wage is in BC, but here it's pretty crap. Around 7 bucks an hour. I'm assuming at somewhere like the Keg you would make pretty decent tips, since it is fairly upscale..ish. If you're a host, sometimes you may get higher hourly pay. Usually restaurants have tip out, where everyone that makes tips (servers and bartenders) pay a share of tips to be distributed amoung kitchen and host staff.
