I wouldn't lift every day. When you lift weights, you are tearing small microfibers of your muscles. When the muscles have time to repair, the fibers grow back bigger and stron ger, hence the reason lifting weights bulks you up. If you don't have at least a day in between lifting sessions, your body won't repair properly and the lifting might not be as effective.
