If you're a virgin, they may not do a pelvic exam. I just needed birth control to regulate my periods and they didn't require a pelvic exam, being that I am a virgin.
DON'T worry about looking or feeling akward/weird. Obgyns chose their occupation, and are not weirded out by what they do. Plus, they have seen everything that you have 49328429 times. You're nothing new, and don't have to feel akward.
They don't always do a breast exam. Don't forget that this is their job and they've done it 10000 times. It's not akward for them, and it shouldn't be akward for you. :]
