the vet we know doesn't try to sell us usless food but we known him for about 18 years, but the bone thing I kinda have to argue about the bones that the dogs chew on can beak and when that happens the small fragments get inside and hurt them or ghet stuck inside their throats

Uncooked bones do not splinter. Wild dogs, and cats, will eat bone all the time.

You should boil the bones, it softens them. Correction, most uncooked bones do not splinter, but some still do; depending on the bone itself. Better to boil the bones for about 10 minutes to be on the safe side.

THIS ONLY PERTAINS TO DOGS NOT AT 100% HEALTH. Healthy dogs benefit from the small traces bacteria in uncooked bones/meat by building an immunity to it.

That whole Beneful shit, yeah, it makes you think veggies are good for dogs. They're not.

And seriously, if I had the money to raw feed my dog, I would in a heart beat. I do, however, mix his food with either a boiled egg or some kind of meat everyday. Kibble does not have enough protein and nutrition, especially for my show dog.

So, when your walking down the isle at PetsMart wondering which food is better, none of it is.
