Well, there is the whole thing about respecting other cultures and whatnot, and that they may laugh at aspects of our culture, or point at the fact that certain parts of western society perform circumcision and suchlike. But still, it must cause terrible pain and suffering to those it is performed on, which is reason enough to seek the ending of it. Eventually it will be stopped, though, seems like things are heading in that direction already.
