I know this sounds sort of asshole-ish, but do I get points for mass messaging my novices and for the automated message sent out to new users or is it only if I individually message them?

Interesting question, branflakes.

This is purely a guess, but I highly doubt points are given for the automated message. Older support leaders have had *tons* of novices, and taking that into account, it really doesn't seem like they would get a reward point for each one.
