Kant is a little shit.

Why did he feel the need to bend his philosophy to christianity instead of allowing himself to follow the philosophy where it led?

 He was a coward.

and insane while we were at it.

You have not read Kant, or understood him to say the least. I suggest you read his critiques, and then understand and analyze then.

1) Yes I have read some Kant.
2) I have ALSO read about him/his work.
3) I have even quoted him/ made topics about his work on the forums.
so yes I have some understanding of some of his works. So maybe assumptions aren't the best idea here.

His Copernican revolution and what not. He had some good ideas but that didn't keep him from being a fuck up at the end of the day.

You do know that people read the critique of pure reason in English instead of German because Kant uses fucked up syntax. (read:insane) it was part of the theory about his having a brain tumor so yes that is what the insane part of one of my earlier posts was about.
