Oh my God, this thread is making me teary-eyed.

This makes me feel shitty for taking advantage of my life. Anyway, perhaps just write them a letter, telling them what you told us. I don't know whether to tell you to hang on, or to wish you luck with telling them. I couldn't imagine being in your shoes. You're a strong person.

Man. I just now found out you left. I hope you come back. I knew someone with CF. It's a shitty thing to have to go through, the doctors, the medications, all the shit you can't do. Don't give up on life. Technology, medicine, and medical procedures have been improving rapidly. In the next few years, there may very well be a procedure or pharmaceutical that can make your life much easier and possibly even cure one or both of your diseases. If you give it all up now, those 19 years of pain and suffering would have been lived in vane.

Life is a precious thing, It is more valuable then comfort and ease, I'm sure that most people would be willing to endure your suffering in return for a few extra years of it; I know that I would be. Don't be so quick to give up.
