Ok this girl I like has been driving me nuts because of the mixed signals she gives me and last night I decidedto have a few drinks to myself when online. Unfortunately I had too much and started a huge depressed rant. This obviously upset her. I don't want to go out with her anymore as I have now lost my trust in women for the forseeable future. But I want to forgive her because she's still a friend. Do you think a txt explaining that I was drunk and i'm sorry is ok?

Even though she's being really mean as well I still think it would be better for you to say it to her face to face. She'd never take the apology seriously. Just tell her that you were drunk and you're very sorry. After that just move on, she doesn't even have to say: 'I accept'. Just walk away knowing that what you did was right and you're the bigger person and get on with life.
