It's because it's just delaying the issue, that's why. The theory is that if we get oil for a while off the cost that will give us time to make alternatives.

The reality however is that like a highschool fuckwit, we use our extended date to do nothing but slack off more untill the last minute and then try and fix the problem at a time when the situation will probably be worse.

Exactly, beside the other country who has the oil places in their side of the ocean will get mad and like hate us. Also, it is best to try to find alternatve ways as fuel, no more oil. Oil will run out in like 40-50 years

Not true at all. If Clinton had not vetoed it 10 years ago, we would be styling right now.

Plus, prices will immediately come down because of future speculation.

I wonder if Obama will do that thing a president had once created. It was ways our country can decrease it's debt, but then the incoming president vetoed it before it was ever able to start.
