I know, it's fucking rediculous. But my car has a decent sized tank and gets 28 miles to the gallon, so I pay just over $50 to fill it up all the way, and then I don't fill it again for three weeks or more.

1.24 is pretty cheap....its ~1.50 a litre here, i think the aussie dollar is quite similar to canadian dollar.

It was 64 dollars to fill up my little car last week.
I remember when it was like 75 cents, straight up.
But it's not so bad, go to the USA, it's like almost 3 dollars per litre.
That's RE-FUCKING-DICULOUS.

Luckily the price of gas has begun to drop again out here in Los Angeles. It's down to $3.85/gal for Regular; I filled up my tank (about 13 gallons) for just under $60.
