TO ANY MODS:  Feel free to lock, the problem just fixed itself somehow.

Just set up 6.0mbps DSL with ATT and I am having a bit of a personal issue.

The two other computers in the apartment can connect to the network through wireless means. My desktop however will not connect or even find the network. I have checked to see that my room is not a dead spot (brought a laptop in, and have tried coupling 3 USB extender cables to the living room) and it works for the laptop but not for my desktop.

I have tried auto-find options and manually putting in the information. Still not working.

I am using a BUFFALO WLI-U2-KG125S (USB)

The router is a D-Link DIR-615

What OS is the desktop using? Does it even reconize it is connected? Also have you checked the recent drivers for the Buffalo wifi USB?

The USB adaptor you are using is approved for Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP, so it might be having problems if your desktop is running with Vista.
