Me and my gf are going through some tough times...it's gotten to the point where everyday we argue about nothing. We're always yelling at each other. I recently lost my job so that makes money difficult. I always try to do what she wants but it stresses me out. She made me quit smoking((i don't care about your opinion on that)) I can't hang out with my best friend so much. We do live together, me and my gf that is. And i just feel confined. We each have completely different aspirations in life and need different things....what do i do.

talk to her about it and see where each of you want your relationship to go - sounds to me like maybe you should break up, but if you love her then try and figure things out first. See where that leads you. Atleast then if you decide to break up you can say 'i gave it my best shot'

If you love each other and want to stay together, just focus on making things better.
It might help if you set down some rules, if not together then at least in your own mind, like: -If you see an argument starting, just quit: it's not worth it. -Don't raise your voice and yell. -Take a number of days per week that you think is fair to see your friend or for yourself.
Don't forget relationships take work.
