You can't explain something like that. Sure, we're human, but that's only defined by our biology.
A dog is happy as soon as he gets his bone and has done his business.
You give a human being an apple an a toilet and he'll be complaining about how thin the toilet paper is.
Like I said. Its really just because we are human. We are smart enough to notice the problems in our surroundings, and stupid enough not to appreciate what we do have.
