ex's new bf harrased me for no reason -- LiveWire College Forums

So I dated this girl over the summer and she broke up with me claiming her best friend died and she couldn't do anything anymore because she was too depressed. I accepted it, not entirely believing her however. So I think that's that.
Well a week ago I get an IM from her saying she wants to hook up again and it makes me feel happy. So I talk to her online for about a week and then one night I get another IM. This one doesn't sound like her because it's very sexual and out of character. I also get a facebook friend request from some kid I don't know. Red lights go off. I check his page out and low and behold, there's pics of her kissing this dude.Turns out it's her new boyfriend, and turns out it was him talking to me on AIM the whole time. I guessed that's what was going on when he (pretending to be her) claimed she didn't have a facebook and she was just using his to see my page. I ask him why he played me like that. He tells me for fun and he wants me not to talk to her anymore because now she's 'mine'. This guy is a real internet tough guy, but I could beat his ass face to face because he's a scrawny little fag. Well, I respond by telling him I'm posting a video I have of me and her in a private situation online. He freaks out. Then I start getting text messages on my cell phone from her asking why I'm doing it and tries to convince me not to do it. She's also freaking out, and saying 'You just can't let anyone be happy because you're not'. I tell her to fuck off.

I'm not sure why, when I hadn't contacted the girl since we broke up, her new boyfriend thought it was necessary to play games with my feelings. Does it make people feel big to trick people online? Is it really necessary? How does it benefit him? And I was right not to believe her being 'too depressed to have a comitment' because it turns out she started dating this jerk like a week after her friend died. Why can't they just be honest? I can accept, "I don't like you anymore," What I can't accept are lies. And I defiantley won't accept abuse when I did nothing wrong. I didn't contact the screen name, he/her contacted me first. So I don't think I should be expected to stand by and take crap from these assholes because it's not like I started this.

So basically I'll never trust anyone. And a word of advice, if I have an hour long sex tape of you, you probably shouldn't screw with me for no reason.

P.S. It also turned out she started dating this new guy about a week after her friend died so the whole depressed thing was a lie.
