This is how I used to think about the USA before too, until I read and got exposed to more. The US is a good country, but it oversteps it's boundaries. You have to look at what really is going on, how much "good" do we really do? If a place in need serves no economical plus for us, how much are we really doing? It's not a matter of jealousy, it's a matter of self-righteousness that most Americans can't even see because they don't pay attention or are uninformed. It's easy to think this way being an American, but to others it can look like an empire.

One thing I find weird but understandable from the american point of view is that sometimes the ppl working at borders don't let tourists come in although they're completely legally there with visas and stuff. And I've heard many scary stories of the rude behavior of those workers.
And if there hadn't been immigrants, there would be no population as it is now and now they don't let people come in.
I'm only talking about a number of situations I've heard of and I'm not making generalizations nor expressing any personal views but this is just one bad thing about the US.
You may also point out "world domination" and all that.
I have a friend whose mom was an exchange student in the US during college and she was disgusted by the menu she was offered: greasy and full of sugar donuts for breakfast. But that can't be too bad cus in the end you eat what you want.
I hope they'll let me in when I go to USA. It's supposed to be visa free for Estonian citizens next year.

Because you are up yourself. This is proven by the OP post, generalizes that everyone that dislikes the US has a general jealously of them. To be honest i would prefer to live in my country over yours, we are isolated away from everything such as war.
