Europe's population is primarily white. You can find the whitest area in Europe and happily live there. There are small towns where ignorance such as yours presides over everything else.

There. You have an alternative. As far as I know, none of North America can be designated a "white" country. We believe in multiculturalism.

Too many people are stereotyping the black neighborhood as full of ghetto black gangstas whereas they associate the white neighborhood with white middle class suburbia. Truth is (and believe me, I deliver pizzas - I face these kinds of people of all colors all day long), many people of all races of lower classes live in a rather apalling manner. Many times they're loud and inconsiderate, wreak of smoke (usually from cigarettes, occasionally from marijuana), and instead of taking their trash to the dumpster, they'll just throw it out on the porch and let it rot. Their homes tend to be filled with fruit flies and cockroaches as a result, and often have mold growing everywhere inside them which really smells. And if you have a problem with this, they usually aren't afraid to get in your face about it. Now, not every person of a low class neighborhood is like this (in fact, most aren't that bad), but I run into these kinds of people in far higher proportions in lower class neighborhoods than in middle and upper class ones and they come in all colors, shapes, and sizes.

Blacks and other minorities (aside from East Asians) obviously tend to be more concentrated in lower class neighborhoods than middle class ones (although there's a fair number of them in middle class neighborhoods, too, to be quite honest, just as there's more whites in total numbers (not percentage) who are poor than minorities), so it's no surprise why blacks and other minorities are often associated with poverty and the low class (especially given the poverty statistics many groups of people - usually those supporting "helping" minorities via things like affirmative action - like going over time and time again).  However, people, please think things through every so often before making such broad sweeping generalizations.  You'd often be surprised at how reality contradicts your preconceived notions.

Not to say that all white neighbourhoods are squeaky clean though, since crime can happen ANYWHERE. But there are certain places where crime is more prone to happen, vs. other places where it's less likely to happen. And in the case of a white neighbourhood vs. a black neighbourhood, crime is more likely to happen in the latter of the two. That's just the way it is, unfortunately.

If I HAD to choose between a black neighbourhood or a white neighbourhood, I'd have to go with the white one. Only because there's a lesser chance of me being the target of possible gang violence and/or other harsh realities of the black community, and I know this from experience because I grew up in a neighbourhood that was predominantly black up until the age of 14, and you better believe when I say it wasn't easy!
Now I live in a Portuguese/Italian area and I gotta say, it's a hell of a lot better than my previous living situation.
