Well. I don't know whether this is the greatest situation, but it's definately good news.
You may remember Jon, a kid in the school I work for, whom I suspected was getting abused?

(And btw, this situation with the child abuse has been going on ever since Jon came to the school 2 years ago)
So social services did an inspection of the mother's home and of his injuries, and basically decided that Mz X should be investigated even further.
We think the breaking point may have been yesterday when he told the Headmistress that his mother thrown a full bottle of lager at him.
Supposedly because of the little discussion him and the Headmistress had.
A courtcase is being had on Monday, to decide whether Jon should go and live with his dad in Cardiff.
Until then he is being put in a children's home.
Sorry if these updates are annoying, it's just I'm glad things are happening so quickly after I told the Head.
