Well, my ex best friend (but we are still friends) and I have had fights for about a year and a half because I say that she doesn't act like a real friend (example: she never calls I always have to or invites me anywhere but she does all of her other friends). So, a few days ago after months of not speaking not on purpose just because I was never contacted and I don't want to put up effort unless she is... she contacts me on facebook and she goes guess what this weekend is the carnival at my church. I go really!? she goes yep "text me when you get there so I can scoop you up." It isnt my church so I don't really know anyone else I just go every year because my parents were married there. Anyway here is the part that made me mad. I text her when I get there and shes like ok I'll be there soonish. 45 minutes passes no text from her so we're like this is past soonish let's leave. So, on our way out I see her with her friends that she blows me off for all the time. she looks like she's really just tagging along with them. I was like she didnt text me >:( So I leave and 30 minutes later i get a text and guess what it says... Hey im here. WHAT THE HECK i was so mad would you be? how should i handle this? ps sorry for length :)

i would be pissed but then again some texts are delayed for some reason.  but if technical difficulties weren't the case, then yes i'd just give her the cold shoulder all over again.

Well, it all seems kinda childish.

But i would say find a new friend. One who isn't going to blow you off, or lie to you. There has got to be other people who will treat you like a good friend

Honestly i probably would have left, mabey came back later. but it would have made me a little upset, but not enough to really confront her

EXACTLY how i felt i left im going back tomorrow for day 2 aka the good day when everyone goes but ya im not going to confront her unless she mentions it to me... then its on lol
