Im taking it this year in school.
We will be dissecting a cat and other things, and at the end, we will cut into a cadaver.

I went to the bookstore and got like a anatomy teaching book. its acutally interesting. Im going to read it and get a head start on the class.

Does anyone else do this?

Gross anatomy is a fourth year course that requires special department consent. I doubt you'll be frivolously dissecting a cadaver.

I start my first year of medical school in September and it's 80% anatomy. As for cadavers, we'll be paired up and given one each, or at least a section of one, for the lessons. Can't wait.

I took Anatomy and Physiology last year and it was a FABULOUS class. You don't have to be interested in being a doctor or going into a medical profession to enjoy the class.
