Long lasting bruise...

I've had a very concentrated spot on my shin that is excruciating to touch for a long time.  I'd say estimates of 4-5 months.  I don't see any coloration, but one of my friends said that they saw a bruise where I showed them.  I'm pretty sure bruises don't last that long though, so i'm worried it might be something worse, like I chipped the bone...  Does anyone know what it might be, and what I can do to heal it?

go to either your doctor or a dermatologist.  they should know what's up better than most people.  it's probably just some kind of non-visible bruise.  i've gotten those before.  but they don't last that long, so you should probably make an appointment.

my friend crystal had a bruise like that, and it can be serious if it lasts too long.
hers is now permanent and its like.. see-through.
it can spread..

Go to a doctor. O.o I think the sooner people realise doctors know these things and we livewire people don't have PHDs the better.

After seeing the people that will become doctors in anatomy class, you start to have little faith in the medical system.  I was just wondering from other people's past experience, not that anyone just happens to learn these things.  Thanks for you concern though.
