ok, well im into drawing, and things about art.
i really like it.
the problem is, in order to draw something i have to look at the subject to get the detailing and everything correct. (especially people).
for example, i can't just sit down and draw someone/something.
because it never turns out right, and i continuously have to erase and start over.
but when i look at something in particular and draw it looks okay.
im kinda new to art, and just got into it last year.
is this bad? or is it ok?
do you think i'll get better at it overtime?

Thats how I draw.
Its just visual drawing.
You have to see it to draw it.
Its normal, I know alot of people that are like that.

No, that's totally cool.  I've been into art since I was zero, and I still draw like that most of the time.  It's just easier.  But it's not like, cheating or anything.  It's really hard to draw things in your mind until you've done it repeatedly. It takes tons of practice.  Don't sweat it.  You can only improve.

Basically you just have to put yourself in the mindset of simply accepting the unacceptable. Or believing that all details - right or wrong - are necessary.
