WiFi is, in my mind, wireless internet that connect games, computers, and everything's internet. Now, the biggest giveaway if you have WiFi is whether or not you have a wireless router. They are usually less the 75$, and connect to your modem, and send out wireless internet signals. On laptops, it will pick these signals up, and will give you a list of available ones. Some may be secure, "locked", and others not. Anyone can take the insecure ones, but you need a password for the secure ones. So, if you don't have one, you don't have WiFi internet.
Now, if you have a Wii or other game system, it might also send out signals, but not internet. For some games, you can use your DS, and the Wii sends out the signals for the DS to pick up, but only specifically for the DS.
