When my class was not being particularly productive or on track, my AP teachers would throw that at us.

Sometimes I just wanted to raise my hand and say, "Well, actually, most of us are here because all of our friends were taking this class and we think we're too good for Honors."

Since AP test scores come back later this month, I was thinking about that.  It was the truth though. I would have NEVER taken APUSH if it wasn't for my best friend. He aced the class though, and I slid by with a B.

AP English is where it's at for me.

I HATED AP US soo much. I hate history to begin with so I don't even remember why I chose to take an AP course in it for the second year in a row. It sucked and I totally bombed the test. Anyway, in my school taking AP classes boosts your GPA so there's another reason.

To be honest, I only take AP classes because at least AP students are tolerable to be around. And there tend to be a lot less distractions.

Because regular classes would be more boring and slow.

Furthermore, a lot of AP classes at my school don't require people to show up to the lectures (we just need to show up to tests, quizzes, and labs for science courses) and often have little or no homework.

Senior year, when I was taking all APs (my school have a rotating schedule, so we only get 4 - 5 courses a day instead of 7), I get to skip school for a day sometimes:)
