Basically, my girlfriend of two months (a friend of only about 6 months) was basically tossed out on the street with almost nothing today by her mother.  I'm doing my best to support her and help her get shit figured out, but I can't cope with it myself.

Seeing someone lose her home, any financial support she would've had for college, and most importantly, her brothers (her mother probably won't let her see them).  She's just so broken, and there's not a single thing in the world I can do about it.

It's not even so much that I can't help her,.  It's just that as horrible as it is, it seems like it's going to be just what life is.  We get tossed out with nothing, and then we work forever in futility to scrape by.  Life will just be full of meaningless toil, and it's killing me.  I'm just sitting in my room crying alone because I can't make sense of any of this shit.

You sound like a loving and caring boyfriend.
She's lucky to have someone like you.
Just make sure that she knows you're there for her and maybe invite her to stay at your house.
I'm sorry and I hope things improve for both of you.
