This fall i am going to Virginia Tech for engineering, and for that major they require students to have a tablet pc, this got me upset because i was almost all ready to buy a mac when i found this out, and mac doesn't make a tablet. I have been looking online and i really cant find a tablet that seems to be a clear choice to get. I was just wondering what the best brand/model there is for a tablet pc for fall 2008. Links would be great. Thanks.

Mac isnt a brand, its Apple.
And there is a company that has an OSX tablet. Google around for it.
However, none of the software they give you will work on it, so thats probably a bad idea.

im so sorry i said mac, not apple it seems you had no idea what i was talking about. And the fake "Apple" tablets are very expensive.

How do I not know what you are talking about? If you were talking about a .Mac tablet (or rather OSX), then there is one. If you were talking about an official tablet, then you should have used the proper brand name (Apple).
