if u have alcoholic issues then u need to stop drinking..look people drink/smoke everyday but do u know the more u smoke/drink the less ur life becomes..i never smoked/drink n a day n my life..people feel like if u smoke/drink then it will make ur problems go away..noway hossay..it actually makes it wrose when u think about it ur life is what makes u succeed or unsucceed..for the most part u would try to stop but u can't because u is addictied to it..so it not gonna help u none...on another note if u have ever been abused a day n ur life then u need 2 get help cuz i remember when i was just 7 or 8 years old i went out with this boy because i thought he was cool but later on he hit me and hit me tried 2 get what he wanted then beat me so bad that i felt dumb but after that day i went back and sed no more beatings im threw with u..then he sed ok girl u were never nothing anyway..i sed no u were never nothing i trusted u and i get this ashame on u..i told him u will pay back every thing u did 2 me..and walked..never talked to the boy again..but i went home and told my mom and she got him..but trust me if u been abused like me then u need 2 tell someone do not be scared do not be scared..GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU!! :)

Please don't oversimplify situations, if you've never been in that place you don't know what it's like. Alcoholics et al can't just stop what they're doing at the wave of a flag, it's not that easy.

You clearly have not been in this situation. It's easy to say "HEY, JUST STOP DRINKING, HA, IT'S THAT SIMPLE" but it is entirely different to be an alcoholic and have no willpower, and actually put the bottle down.
Your advice is terrible. I do not feel at all bad for saying that so bluntly either. You clearly have never dealt with a situation as serious as alcoholism or abuse. When you do, maybe then you can give some sort of advice, and maybe then it will be better than "just stop", but until then, you don't know, and you cannot give advice, and you shouldn't give advice.

God....Sure, because hes done so much for me as it is.

You know, the fact there have been weeks that I ate ramen noodles, and thats it, simply because thats all we could afford.

Or how about the thousands of dollars our family has in debt, because of the 3yrs (in total) that neither of my parents had a job!

How about the 4 times I tried to kill myself, twice of which should have been successful. Or, how about when my brother tried to strangle me to death?

Heres one for you, how about the time I got mugged, and got my jaw broken? Or when I got run over?

You know what, you can just fuck off. If I want an occasional drink, or smoke, I will. Its not subtracting from my life at all, and Im not going to stop, because "god" is not going to take care of me.

Not everyone becomes an alcoholic because they were abused.
I drink alcohol when I go out with friends and stuff. I'm not an alcoholic and I'm completely aware of the effects alcohol has on me.
And 'God' never took care of me in any other challenge I faced, so (hypothetically of course, since I don't believe there is a God) why would he in any future challenges?
