Once you actually understand that there is opportunity in dozens of countries (in fact in most countries) in this world,  and once you see the massive contradictions between the American dream/message and the state of things as they are today, how can you really give two shits? I'm not saying I hate America, I like it enough, but there is opportunity and goodness and yes, even more progressive ways of living outside our borders.

Basically, why do we give such a damn about the fucking imaginary lines we've made on dirt, and why are we falling for the lies about Grand America? It's grand and disgusting at times, as is any other place. What's the big deal about the USA, or about anywhere else? Are we so stupid or in such need of some ties that bind that we'll get all emotional about arbitrary geographic divisions?
