Oscar Wilde is an author and playwright, he is amazing :D
Nietsche is a philosopher and has really interesting views, im no expert but i know these two and love their stuff

Nietzsche is a famous German philosopher who famously pronounced god was dead. He wrote a lot of books, one of the most famous being Thus Spoke Zaruthustra. You could just wikipedia these people too.

Alestair Crowley was very involved in the Occult He wrote The Book of the Law and founded/created/established the Thelema (talk to Wilder for more details on this, I dont want to screw anything up)
Ayn Rand is an author who wrote books such as The Fountainhead, Atlas Shrugged, Anthem etc. She was russian and rejected communism and helped to foudn the philosophical movement known as objectivism. The basic premise of objectivism is that if everyone does what is best for themselves, everyone will be taken care of. She wrote against the crimes altruism, and felt that only the individual could properly care for the individual.
