That stuff smells terrible, lol. Better off shaving.

Get a new, sharp razor. It's a good idea to do it towards the end of a shower, so the hairs are softer from the heat and everything. Look for shaving cream for sensitive skin, or even use a skin lotion. Shave in the direction of the hair growth! That's really important, and you can go against the hair growth once your skin gets used to it. It's best to use a new razor every time (disposable razors are great), because the blade is dulled by the hair very quickly. Rinse well and pat dry. Use any type of gentle exfoliator to avoid further irritation, but be sure to be really careful (if anything hurts, avoid doing it, lol). Hope this helps. :]

Waxing is also great. It lasts a lot longer and the irritation is minimal. It really doesn't hurt badly at all if you find someone who knows what they're doing. It's embarrassing at first, but if you go to a good place, they're very professional, and it isn't too much to worry about.
