How old are u? Legally (well in my state but i am not sure about urs) a child 15 and older has the right to see their biological family. Well they say it is 18 but the dumbass government ppl here haven't noticed the loop hole..which pretty much says u can be 15..so ya....

Don't let your family tell you what to do- at least that never worked for me. If i couldnt find freedom somehow backin the day i would have quit living. (another bad idea)
id reccommend you continue your search, but be ready to meet people very different from your expectations

if ur guardians wont let u find/see them then u can always see if a friend will help out, or tell them how much it means to, but not to mention u can be 18 to see them without permission, i had to find this out on my own when i found out i was adopted
