I wish he'd shave more, he itches me.  He doesn't like the burns and cuts he always feels but he is also to lazy to shave.  Can I get him some kind of cut-free razor that shaves super-close or is that like saying "shave more often"?  Or maybe me wanting him to shave daily to a. look better and b. NOT itch me is a reasonable request?  I'm so confused!

I would just talk about it. Unless your funny about it, the razor would be awkward.

It's passive-aggression at its most finest.  It totally says "shave more often."  He'll know what you mean and would likely feel hurt.  Why don't you tell him that you prefer him shaved yourself, and buy him a better present?

Just tell him to shave more often, guys prefer it when girls are just straight up with them.

I dunno. I think it sounds like a decent gift. I could totally see myself getting that for a partner if I was annoyed by his facial hair. *Shrugs*

Most guys tend to like practical gifts anyway.

I do tell him to shave!  He doesn't listen to me.
